Temporary peak season extensions for international FBA shipments

We know many of you are experiencing longer ocean transit times, port delays, and customs holds this peak season due to external factors beyond your control.

To give you more flexibility, we’ve made two temporary changes for international shipment plans created between August 1 and November 30, 2026:

  • We’ve extended the window for related shipments to arrive after the first shipment in a multi-destination plan is received from 30 to 45 days. You won’t be charged the deleted or abandoned`defect fee as long as your remaining shipments are received within 45 days of the first receive.
  • We’ve extended the automatic shipment closure window to 90 days, giving your in-transit shipments more time to arrive before they close.

What to expect:

  • The defect will still be flagged on your Inbound Performance Dashboard but the fee is waived for eligible shipments (defined above).
  • Any inbound defect fees already charged on eligible shipments will be reimbursed. Go to your Reimbursement report to view details.

No action is required. These changes and reimbursements will be applied automatically.
