About Oakline Retail
Oakline Retail is an e-commerce business that sells general merchandise and a variety of consumer products on eBay, with listings across different categories and a focus on competitive pricing. Orders ship from the United States. EHP's work on the account includes seller-performance reviews, order and fulfillment checks, customer-case coordination and operational recovery planning.
eBay evaluates seller performance on the 20th of each month. Its seller dashboard tracks measures including late shipment rate, seller-canceled transactions for being out of stock, and cases closed without seller resolution. If an account falls Below Standard, eBay says its listings may be placed lower in Best Match search results.
The goals
The account management work set four goals:
- 1. Fewer late shipments. Bring the late-shipment rate toward an internal target of under 5%.
- 2. Fast answers on delivery claims. Handle each claim promptly, using verified carrier information and the account's approval steps.
- 3. On-time dispatch. Ship every paid order by its ship-by date, backed by proof that the carrier accepted the parcel.
- 4. Clean reporting. Keep performance reports accurate, with eBay's current and projected evaluation periods kept apart.
Our approach
EHP's eBay account management for Oakline Retail covers four areas of work:
- Seller-performance reviews. We read eBay's seller level, defect, tracking and sales figures at each evaluation and keep the current and projected periods separate.
- Order and fulfillment checks. We review orders awaiting shipment against their ship-by dates so they go out on time.
- Customer-case coordination. We work through buyer cases and delivery claims using carrier information.
- Operational recovery planning. We plan the steps that bring a weak metric back on track.
What eBay's dashboard showed
We work from eBay's own records. The screenshots below come from the account's Seller Hub.
As of August 20, 2026, and again as of September 20, 2026, eBay rated Oakline Retail Above Standard. For the transaction period September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026, the transaction defect rate was 0.23%: 1 defect in 441 transactions. eBay marks anything above 2.00% as Below Standard, and 0.50% or less sits in its Top Rated band. The one defect was a case closed without seller resolution. No transactions were cancelled for being out of stock.

eBay Seller Hub: seller level as of September 20, 2026, and the transaction defect rate for September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026.
On the same dashboard, tracking was uploaded on time and validated for 100% of the transactions eBay evaluated (246 of 246). The 12-month period recorded 441 transactions and $37,868.44 in sales. When the screenshot was taken, eBay's "If we evaluated you today" projection also read Above Standard, with the next evaluation due October 20, 2026.

Day to day, the work is less visible. Orders awaiting shipment are checked against their ship-by dates. The example below shows two orders sold on October 14, due to ship by October 15 and October 19. Order details and amounts are hidden.

Results and ongoing goals
- Above Standard in both evaluations shown (August 20 and September 20, 2026) and in eBay's projection for October.
- A low transaction defect rate: 0.23%, or 1 of 441 transactions.
- On-time, validated tracking for 246 of 246 evaluated transactions. This documents tracking performance; on its own, it does not prove every order was dispatched or delivered on time.
- No out-of-stock cancellations in the period. Accurate inventory information stays a priority to keep it that way.
- A recorded baseline: 441 transactions and $37,868.44 in sales over the 12 months, to compare future results against.
What comes next
The next stage focuses on dispatch: improving reliability, reducing late shipments toward the under-5% target, and confirming carrier acceptance before each ship-by deadline. We keep measuring sales, tracking, inventory and seller-performance metrics over the same reporting periods, so future changes can be compared like for like.
