Here’s something a lot of new sellers don’t realize: brand approval often depends on the rep reviewing your case.

One Walmart rep might deny your request with, “We made a business decision,” while another might approve it instantly. It’s not always about the documentation—it’s about who handles your ticket.

⚠️ Pro tip: Don’t spam Walmart with dozens of cases. Instead, open 2–3 at most, and wait. Persistence + patience usually wins.

When Walmart Might Ask for an Authorization Letter

So far, I’ve only seen sellers asked for an LOA in categories like:

Supplements
Beauty products
High-risk categories (think health items)

But overall, as of now, Walmart is still much looser than Amazon when it comes to brand gating.

If you’ve ever dealt with Amazon counterfeit removal or tried to stop fake products on Amazon, you know Amazon is much stricter. Walmart isn’t there yet—but it may change in the future.
