Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) has expanded its eligible product catalog to include battery-containing electronics, small mechanical devices, and items meeting the "Non-DG Empty Equipment" standard. Products like Bluetooth speakers, smartwatches, portable power banks, and new empty equipment can now ship as general cargo via both air and ocean freight.
This means sellers with previously restricted SKUs can now consolidate more inventory through Amazon Global Logistics’ end-to-end cross-border logistics solution, reducing supply chain complexity and minimizing order disruptions.
Broader product coverage
Amazon Global Logistics now accepts products containing nickel-cadmium, alkaline, zinc-based, and silver oxide batteries, plus brand-new mechanical devices shipped without fuel or hazardous residue.
No workflow changes required
Your interface and booking process remain the same. Submit your booking, and the operations team will guide you through any required shipping documentation.
Air and ocean freight eligible
Both transportation modes support the expanded product categories, giving you flexibility based on speed and cost requirements.
